How to overcome fear of judgement

1. Knowing the name can give you control.

Fear of judgement; fear of humiliation; NOT Fear of Failure

So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” John 8:31-32

Do I have a fear of other people judging me?

2. Knowing the source can give you power.

The judgement we fear from others is the judgement we make on ourselves. Being less judgmental of others frees us from fear of judgement in ourselves.

“Do not judge others, and you will not be judged.  For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged Matthew 7:1-2

Am I judgemental of others?

3. Knowing a  plan can give you hope.

Change your judgement to curiosity..

When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers—the moon and the stars you set in place—what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? Psalm 8:3-4

Can I be more curious?

4. Knowing your fear can give you relief.

Face your fear incrementally.

For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7

How can I face my fear of humiliation?

5. Knowing your King will give you freedom.

Creativity matters in the Kingdom.

The fear of man brings a snare, But he who trusts in the LORD will be exalted. Proverbs 29:25

When you recognize your King is responsible for your creativity, and you trust Him with it, you start to fear man less.
