Learn How To Receive God’s Forgiveness

This is the most important information you will ever need to know.

Jesus says there is only one way to Receive God’s Forgiveness

Jesus said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.” (John 14:6)

Jesus was more than a man. He was the one who put 400 million stars in our galaxy and 400 million galaxies in our universe, and who knows how many more universes there are left to imagine. There is no philosophy good enough and no good work great enough to measure up to the standard of such a Being beyond our comprehension.

Jesus wasn’t being exclusive when He said He was the Way. He was being inclusive, making a way where we couldn’t make one on our own.

Good works cannot save you.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Trust Jesus Christ today!

Here’s what you must do:repentance

Admit you are a sinner.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (Romans 3:23)

Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned— (Romans 5:12)

If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us. (1 John 1:10)

This is called confession. It’s agreeing with God you’ve been wrong and He’s been right.

Be willing to turn from sin.

I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. (Luke 13:5)

In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. (Acts 17:30)

This is called repentance. It’s is both changing your mind and going in the opposite direction from this point on.

Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried, and rose from the dead.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.(Romans 5:8)

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

Through prayer, invite Jesus into your life to become your personal Saviour.

For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. (Romans 10:10)

Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13)

Here’s a sample prayer:

“Heavenly Father, I thank you for your great love and kindness. Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I know I have rebelled and walked in disobedience to you. I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead. I need you and accept your free gift. Come and live in me and fill every part of my life. I trust and follow you as my Lord and Saviour. Holy Spirit guide my life and help me to do your will. Thank-you for loving me, thank-you for forgiving me, thank-you for accepting me. In Jesus name, Amen.”

If you prayed that prayer….

CONGRATULATIONS!

Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—(John 1:12)

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! (2 Corinthians 5:17)

The Bible describes us being transferred from the dominion of darkness into the Kingdom of light. Everything is new! May we live up to what we’ve already attained!
